Skeffling Village Hall
6kW turbine on 15m mast. Installed February 2007 to provide power for the village hall. It was Proven's 1000th turbine.

Bowland Wild Boar Park. 6kW turbine on 15m mast - installed February 07.
This is a very popular tourist attraction in the Forest of Bowland. The site
has a café, visitor centre and schoolrooms. It has no connection to the
National Grid and is totally dependent on the 6kW Proven turbine and solar
panels and backup diesel generator. The system guarantees freedom from
power cuts the can cope with heavy demand without resorting to backup.  

 

 

Meadowfield Primary School
The school wind turbine was officially opened by the Right Honourable Hilary Benn MP, the local Member of Parliament.
