Meadowfield Primary School - 15kW on 15m mast. Installed August 2008.
The school wind turbine was officially opened by the Right Honourable
Hilary Benn MP, the local Member of Parliament and Secretary of State for
the Environment, Food & Rural Affairs. Mike Shaw, Chair of Governors,
gave a short speech highlighting the importance of addressing climate
change issues in school and the school choir gave a short performance.
